Powerclean
Powerclean is a high-power fiber optic system specifically for ultrafast cleaning operations.
Contaminant removal is accomplished by the energy input of the laser, which carries out an ablative process. Specifically, the process consists of the following steps:
For the process to take place, it is crucial that the laser energy input is sufficient to overcome the specific threshold for ablation of the contaminant.
The Powerclean guarantees precise and ultra-fast results, and can be used with different accessories and in different modes as needed.
Powerclean is particularly suitable for integration on a robotic arm.
This is because the laser source is separate from the control rack unit, and the fiber and cables meet the stress resistance requirements imposed by robot handling. Therefore, the strength and durability of the system are assured.
One of the main advantages of the Powerclean-robot relationship is that the laser program is integrated into the robot program, meaning there is direct communication between the two components.
By programming only one, both will work.
There is no need to have two computers or two management systems. This represents an advantage in terms of saving time and money.
Methods of use
In the standard configuration, the laser is operated from a PC using our FlyCAD software.
In a highly automated environment, FlyPowermark software, which offers a simplified operator interface, can be used as an alternative to FlyCAD.
If the application requires it, the interface can be customized to handle different ways of data entry, such as accessing the client’s factory system (database, web services, TCP/IP protocols, etc.).
In addition, since the system can potentially handle an infinite number of lasers, it is possible to design the application to simultaneously control all lasers on the line.
